Cranford Releases Police Blotter Items For September
A possible seat belt violation leads to drug charges, and more.

CRANFORD, NJ — The Cranford Police Department has released the following information from reports in September:
Sept. 25, 1:57 a.m.: Mark Davis, 48, Kenilworth was arrested by Officer Christopher Folinusz and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving and an improper turn.
Police said that his car was stopped on North Avenue East after he was observed allegedly "traveling on the wrong side of the roadway with a concrete median." The suspect was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

Sept. 17, 7:29 p.m.: Thomas Sinnott, 40, Cranford was arrested by Officer Christopher Gross and charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Police stopped him at Beech Street and West End Place "when the operator was identified as a suspended driver," according to police. "Following an investigation on scene, Patrolman Gross arrested the driver, Thomas Sinnott, for possession of suspected heroin and crack-cocaine."

In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for suspended driving and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was provided with a Superior Court appearance date.
Sept. 11, 3:20 p.m.: David Digiorgio, 39, Union, was arrested by Officer Gregory Federici at Centennial Avenue and Hayes Street. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. His car was stopped at that corner for an alleged seatbelt violation, according to the police. They said he was specifically arrested for possession of suspected cocaine and heroin.
He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Digiorgio was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
