Cranford's Grandstand Opens For Business
Hot dogs and more have their day at township's newest eatery.
Cranford's newest eatery, The Grandstand, is now open for business, serving up gourmet grandstand-style food.
Owners Frank and Sara-Britt Williams have taken that All-American staple, the hot dog, to new levels of culinary delight. In the mood for an all-beef frank topped with three-cheese mac and cheese, crispy bacon bits and buttery toasted panko? Or, how about the one topped with sauerkraut, melted swiss and a signature aioli wrapped in Jewish rye bread? Of course, you can also BYOD—build your own dog—with toppings of your choice.
The menu also includes grass-fed burgers, kid's meals, specialty fries and salads made with organic produce.

These life-long residents of Cranford have worked hard to keep things local from bread baked by Breadsmith to the décor (walls are adorned with wood pallets donated by Dryer Farms and The Home Depot and there are also nostalgic photos of their hometown). Others in the local area played a role in getting The Grandstand off the ground. Gia Pozi, Anna Silva and the "Blueprint" ad agency graphic design class from Arthur L. Johnson in Clark helped with the logo, placemats and menu board.
The Grandstand is located at 101 North Avenue West in Cranford. The full menu and hours can be found online at cranfordgrandstand.com.
