Downtown Cranford Closes Clock Plaza
The temporary measure is being taken to repair the bluestone, according to officials.

CRANFORD, NJ - The Eastman Clock Plaza will be closed starting this week in order to effect temporary repairs to the bluestone, according to Downtown Cranford.
According to officials, the repair work will take approximately two weeks. Originally slated for the fall, the repairs were pushed up in the best interest in public safety.
During this time, all bluestone steps will be reset and jointed. New step lighting will also be installed, adding to the aesthetics of the plaza, officials noted.
