Drunk Driver Causes Four Car Crack-Up: Cranford Police

Shaunette Morales was charged with careless driving, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 33-year-old West Orange woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a four car crack-up on Aug. 15, according to the Cranford Police Department.

Patrolman Michael Gamba was dispatched to South Avenue West on a reported four-car motor vehicle crash and following an investigation on scene Gamba arrested one of the drivers, Shaunette Morales, for driving while intoxicated, police said.

She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Morales was issued motor vehicle summonses for refusal to submit to the taking of breath samples and careless driving, police said.
