Drunk Driver Had No Insurance, Registration: Cranford Police
Lesley Elejalde was stopped for erratic driving, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 22-year-old Elizabeth woman was charged with drunk driving and not having registration or insurance after a motor vehicle stop on July 4, according to the Cranford Police Department.
Lesley Elejalde was stopped by Patrolman Brian Trotter in a 2012 Hyundai at North Avenue East and Alden Street for erratic driving, police said.
Following an investigation on scene, Trotter arrested Elejalde for driving while
intoxicated, police said.

She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.
In addition, she was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, failure to exhibit an insurance card and failure to exhibit a registration card, police said.
