Drunk Driver Had An Open Container: Cranford Police

Sean Wade was stopped for erratic driving, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 27-year-old Hillside man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped for erratic driving, according to the Cranford Police Department.

Police said that Patrolman Shayne Temple stopped a 2011 Ford on North Avenue East and John Street for erratic driving. Following an investigation on scene, Temple arrested the driver, Sean Wade, for driving while intoxicated, police said.

Wade was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Wade was issued motor vehicle summonses for open container, careless driving, failure to keep right and unclear plates, police said.
