Drunk Driver Was Unlicensed: Cranford Police

Juan Carlos Morales was stopped for impeding traffic, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 29-year-old East Orange man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on South Orange Avenue East, according to the Cranford Police Department.

Patrolman Joseph Sherbo stopped a 2016 Nissan on South Avenue East for impeding the flow of traffic, police said.
Following an investigation on scene, Sherbo arrested the driver, Juan Carlos Morales, for driving while intoxicated, police said.

He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Morales was issued motor vehicle summonses for delaying traffic, obstructing traffic and unlicensed driver, police said.
