Cranford's Annual Peddle Paddle Fun Family Event originally scheduled for Sunday, October 7th has been postponed due to inclement weather. It has been rescheduled for next Sunday October 14th at 4:00pm. Duck tickets ($5.00 each) can continue to be purchased at Cheese Please, Periwinkle Fine Gifts, Back to Nature and Joanie's Cafe in downtown Cranford as well as Attack of the Baseball Cards in Union. The Hanson Park Conservancy's Rubber Ducky Race at 4 pm with a top prize of $250.00 downtown gift certificates.
Attendees are asked to expect the unexpected and prepare to cheer on their rubber ducks racing down the Rahway River and over the Sperry Park waterfalls to the finish line at the North Union Ave Bridge. Adopt a ducky today.
Rubber Duck tickets will be sold until the day of the race. As ducks are limited (sold out in 2010), residents are encouraged to secure a Rubber Ducky ticket early.

All proceeds will benefit the continuing restoration of Hanson Park located at 38 Springfield Ave., as well as Hanson Park Conservancy educational programs.
Prizes will include a first prize of a $250 Downtown Gift Certificate, second prize is a ‘Canoe Club Adventure Day’ worth $150 and third prize is a $100 Cranford Downtown Gift Certificate.
