Details: Held on Labor Day until 2009, this race is now on the last Sunday in August. It gets hot in August, so the race is held early, 8:30 AM. The course was recently changed to follow the Firecracker 4 Miler path through Nomahegan Park in Cranford. This move from a 5 mile race to a 4 mile race has received much support in the running community. Like the Hangover, this course is fast, flat, SHADY and scenic. Traffic is controlled and water stops and mile splits are available on the course. Ample post-race refreshments await you at the end.
