The Cranford Recreation and Parks Department and the Cranford Jaycees are sponsoring a Halloween Parade on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Gathering and registration will begin at 1:00pm in the parking lot at the Community Center on Walnut Avenue and judging at 1:30pm. The parade starts at 2:00pm and ends at the Gazebo in Parking Lot#1 (near the Fire Dept.). Don’t miss the Pumpkin Chunkin at 2:30pm, followed by the awards.
Awards will be given out for Best Costume in the following Age Groups: 0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-16. Other categories include: Adult/Child Team, Group, and hand-
pulled mini Floats.
The parade will begin at 2:00pm at the Community Center on Walnut and will continue north across South and North Avenues, up North Union Avenue, across Alden and end at
the Gazebo in Parking Lot #1 (near the Fire Dept.) Parade escorts include the Cranford Police Department, Cranford Fire Department, and the Cranford Emergency Squad. For
