In conjunction with the National Foundation for Cancer Research and the “Kick It to Cancer” campaign, Union County College’s Men’s Soccer team will be hosting a free “Youth Soccer Clinic” on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Nomahegan Park in Cranford. Boys and girls from all area towns are invited to come meet the players and have the opportunity to gain tips and advice on how to improve one’s soccer skills. Registration will be held from 9:00am to 9:30am and clinic will be held from 9:30am to 11:00am.
Immediately following the free soccer clinic, the Men’s Soccer Team will play Gloucester County College. The game will begin at 12:00pm and all are invited to attend. Union County College’s Men’s soccer team will be wearing something pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the game the announcer will be sharing facts and statistics about cancer and the “Kick It to Cancer”
