Kilkenny House Offers Special Mother's Day Menu on Sun, May 9

The Kilkenny House, 112 South Avenue East in Cranford, NJ, offers its special Mother's Day menu for Sunday, May 9, 2010. The specials are in addition to the restaurant's regular menu.

• Crab Cake over Mixed Greens with Dijon Mustard Aioli: $8

Entrees

• Herb Roasted Half Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables in Brown Gravy: $18
• Rack of Lamb Crusted in a Mint Glaze with Rosemary Honey Mustard with Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Vegetables: $23
• Filet Mignon in Shallot Port Wine Sauce with Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Vegetables: $26
• Roast Loin of Pork served with Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Vegetables in Brown Gravy: $16

Dessert

Diners are encouraged to make reservations at Kilkenny House in advance by calling (908) 276-3414. Kitchen hours on Sunday are 11:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.  Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting. 

"Mother's Day is one of the busiest days of the year for any restaurant.  Everyone wants to plan something special on Mother's Day," said Barry O'Donovan, owner of The Kilkenny House.  "We want to offer our customers something different on the day they honor their mothers, but also serve their favorites on the regular Kilkenny House menu."
