The Woodbridge Township is proud to host the New Jersey Senior Olympic Games for the sixth consecutive year. These games will take place beginning on Friday, September 7, and continue through Sunday, September 9, 2012 more than 1,000 Senior Olympians from around the state will visit our township to compete in this three-day Olympic competition.
In Woodbridge, they will find world-class competition venues, including the Arenas at Woodbridge, the YMCA at the Woodbridge Community Center, The Club at Woodbridge, as well as the newly upgraded Woodbridge High School running track and event fields.
At the Woodbridge Community Center and The Club at Woodbridge, there is a multi-purpose recreational and sporting facilities, including a - full-size gymnasium, Olympic-size swimming pool, roller skating rink, NHL size
ice skating and hockey rink, a wellness center, walking track, meeting rooms, and recreational and lounge areas.

Senior athletes will also make use of well-appointed county and municipal parks and excellent private sports venue facilities. For instance, the Woodbridge Bowling Center and nearby golf courses make Woodbridge the ideal home for the New Jersey Senior Olympic games. And after the competition, Woodbridge offers much to do.
Eligibility:
New Jersey residents and out-of-state athletes who
are age 50 and over as of 12/31/12.)
Competitive Categories:
Male and female competition groups in all events.
The age divisions are: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-
74, 75-79, 80-84,85-89, & 90+.
Equipment:
All participants must supply their own equipment
unless otherwise specified in event description.
Registration/Deadline:
Entries must be received by August 24, 2012.

Athletes may enter as many events as they like but it is the athlete’s responsibility to enter events that do not overlap in time. It is not the responsibility of the NJSO to wait for athletes who are late for their competition. Participants must check in at the Registration Area sometime throughout the weekend. No alcoholic beverages in any venue.
Rain: In the event of rain, events will proceed as scheduled, unless it becomes necessary to move or
cancel them.
Costs: Some events have fees additional to the general
registration fee of $25. Your initial registration fee covers entry to 3 events. If participants of Golf or Softball Teams wish to enter any other event, they must pay the $25 general registration fee.
Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in each age/sex category.
General Registration:
$25 (For three (3) events)
Special Events: (No general registration
fee required) Each additional event: $10.00
(after first 3 events.) Golf: $60. (includes cart)
Softball Team Entry: $150.
