Readers' Forum Book Discussion: "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Mark Haddon

The Readers' Forum, the lively book discussion group of the Cranford Public Library, will discuss the novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (2003) by Mark Haddon. New members are welcome at any time! The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time tells the story of Christopher, a mathematically-gifted fifteen-year-old boy with autism, who, despite his fear of interacting with people, decides to investigate the murder of a neighbor’s dog. Kirkus Review describes Christopher as a “kind of Holden Caulfield who speaks bravely and winningly from inside the sorrows of autism” and notes that the book itself is “wonderful, simple, easy, and moving.”  Click here for a complete list of upcoming Readers' Forum meeting dates and book titles.
