The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are pleased to present this script-in-hand, staged performance of Becky's Makeover by Abigail Safran. Becky's Makeover is a gentle comedy in which 17-year-old Becky becomes obsessed with her new digital recording device, and even her rather unconventional family becomes unnerved to find themselves the subject of her camera's scrutiny at the most inconvenient moments. The Theater Project is an acclaimed, New Jersey-based professional theater group and the recent winner of two New Jersey Tony Awards. The performance will be followed by a discussion among the author, director, actors, and the audience.
