CRANFORD, NJ — A public traffic safety session in Cranford this Thursday will focus on how traffic laws apply to residents across different modes of travel, including drivers, bicyclists, pedestrians, and e-bike users.

The “Traffic Law & People-Friendly Driving” program is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cranford Community Center on Walnut Avenue.

The session is being hosted in partnership with the New Jersey Brain Injury Alliance and These Guys LLC.

Topics include the basics of traffic law, rights and responsibilities of different roadway users, and how those rules apply in everyday situations on local roads.

The program will also address newer transportation options such as e-bikes and scooters, along with questions surrounding recent changes in New Jersey law involving those devices.
