Five Things You Need to Know Today, Feb. 14

1. Starting today the Union County College bus route from the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox church is changing – instead of picking up passengers in the parking lot, the bus will now pick up and drop off at the UCC entrance off Gallows Hill Road near the tennis courts. The shuttle will also additionally stop at the Victor M. Richel Student Commons and the crosswalk at lot 1 near the traffic circle.

3. If you're a sci fi buff, today is also a good day. The Arts Guild of Rahway is featuring artists of the science fiction persuasion today at 1670 Irving Street, Rahway. Featured are works from: Madeleine Bliss, Liz Brown, Derek Buckner, Brian Scott Campbell, Ernest Concepcion, Jason Leinwand, Keary Rosen and Diane Whitebay.

4. The Cranford Bowling Team will hold a tournament against Plainfield High School at 4 p.m. today. 

5. This Thursday, Feb. 17, there will be a special budget meeting for the Township Committee from 7:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
