Frankel's In Garwood Invites Families To Bring Their Children In On Father's Day For Some Free Father's Day Photo Fun Together!

The community is invited to join the Frankel family, residents of Westfield for over 40 years, at their family-owned and operated business, Frankel’s, now located at 86 North Avenue in Garwood on Father’s Day, June 17th from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm for some complimentary light refreshments and free family photo fun together.
Bring your father or grandfather in and enjoy some light refreshments, meet the store Mascot Yo who rocks out in her very own Carhartt doggie wear, sit on a century old bench at the front of the store where Owner, Marty Frankel now 77 years old took naps as a child and countless customers have sat on and have some photo fun together with their man-made, life size “Mr. Fix-All.” Be sure to bring your camera and/or Smartphone to capture your special Father’s Day memory.
Marty Frankel, owner, states “He values family and tradition so much so he wanted to bring the history and stories to share back to the Garwood community.” Frankel’s has a history of generations in his family of fathers since it began in Brooklyn back in 1890 by his Grandfather, Adolph Frankel, then taken over by Marty’s father in 1934 and now by him since 1968. Frankel’s recently relocated to Garwood right next door to his own son, Lee Frankel who owns and operates Crossroads so they can continue the family legacy locally.

Supplying the working men and woman for over a century with the best brands and prices on work clothes, safety toe work boots and lots of personality, Marty’s hope is that the new Garwood store will continue to draw the same type of working class customers and those who are doing outside work and looking for safe and warm outdoor gear that he has had back in Brooklyn for so many years. His down-to-earth store with amazing history carries the top brands in the business such as Carhartt, Timberland, Thorogood shoes that Marty especially loves because they are made in the USA, Union made and employee-owned, Carolina boots and Chippewa boots. The women who also come into this store will definitely like the selection of Harley Davidson and Justin boots. Frankel's also carries uniforms, Carhartt up to 5XL and a pretty cool and fun collection and selection of socks for all amongst many other specialty items too!
