Hanson Park Conservancy presents noted writer and humorist Art Wolk and his lecture on gardening on a budget.

Please join the Hanson Park Conservancy as we welcome Art Wolk and his presentation, “Glorious Gardens for Pennies” on Tuesday, March 15 at 7:30 PM at the Cranford Community Center. In this entertaining, informative and laugh-out-loud program you will learn how to inexpensively produce gorgeous flower and high-yield vegetable gardens. Art will go over the basics of flower garden design and how you can produce drifts of color that will make you run for your camera. This lecture is the prescription that will help you turn your garden into paradise—and at a discount price!
Art Wolk is an award-winning writer, lecturer, photographer, and Grand Sweepstakes winner at the famed Philadelphia Flower Show. He infuses his writings and lectures with a combination of horticultural expertise and a sharp sense of humor. He has appeared on the Discovery Channel, CBS, FOX, and HGTV. In addition, Art has lectured at Longwood Gardens, the Boston Flower and Garden Show, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Master Gardener Symposia in Wisconsin, Tennessee, Connecticut and New Jersey and the Philadelphia Flower Show. He has written two books: Garden Lunacy: A Growing Concern and Bulb Forcing for Beginners and the Seriously Smitten.
