March 6, 2011: Cranford Stuns Chatham
Mairead McKeary's three-pointer silenced the opposing team, and the Cranford girls' basketball team seized a 53-49 victory in their second overtime battle at Chatham High School. The girls went on to beat the top-seeded Chatham Cougars to advance to the North 2 Group 3 title game.

The top-seeded Cranford Cougars baseball team captured its second straight crown in the Union County Tournament, defeating second seed Governor Livingston Highlanders 14-1 at Kean University’s Jim Hynes Stadium.
Oct. 23, 2011: Gymnasts Finish Season 10-0

The Cranford High School Gymnastic Team finished with a 10-0 record. They also set, broke, and reset the school record of 109.05 and were consistently ranked among the top in the state.
Dec. 3, 2011: Cranford Makes Football History
The Cougars captured their first NJSIAA title with 27-0 victory over Parsippany Hills. Junior quarterback Reggie Green rushed for 124 yards and scored twice including a 41-yard TD run which set the tone for the day in Cranford’s 27-0 triumph over Parsippany Hills in a North 2, Group III state tournament championship contest on the Kean University turf. The shutout dropped Parsippany Hills to 8-4 and denied the Morris County school a chance to win its first state title.
Dec. 13, 2011: Cranford Outlasts Westfield in Hockey Tournament
Cranford outlasted Westfield 6-5 in overtime to advance to the finals of the George Cron Tournament on Dec. 13. Junior Danny Murphy fired a loose puck past Westfield goalie Steve Wronski to give the Coguars the thrilling 6-5 overtime win over the Blue Devils before a raucous crowd at Warinanco Park.
Dec. 14, 2011: CHS Girls' Hoops Team Expects Big Season
The Cranford Cougars girls basketball team, with five returning starters, looks to build off of a strong three-year stretch. The 2011-12 Girls basketball team returns all five starters from last season despite only starting one senior, Morgan Miller. The Cougars are amidst a memorable run including three consecutive and one state sectional title.
