The First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, sponsors of the Cranford/Elmora Soup Kitchen, would like to thank the people of Cranford and surrounding towns, organizations and businesses for their support with food products, financial donations, gift cards and emotional encouragement for our soup kitchen project during this time of uncertainty.

The regular space for our soup kitchen has been redeployed as housing for the homeless during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are now providing a mobile picnic to the financially stressed and homeless of the Elizabeth area each Sunday from 3 to 4 pm. at the front of the First Baptist Church of Cranford/Elizabeth, located at 402 Union Ave. in Elizabeth.

We would specifically like to thank the Cranford Houses of Worship, The Community United Methodist Church of Roselle Park, The Boy Scouts, Cranford Jaycees, Pinhos Bakery, Sonny G's sponsored by Kathy Benghanem, Dreyer Farms, Breadsmith, team members of the Cranford/Elmora Soup Kitchen and all the unknown but appreciated friends who responded to our grass roots appeal for assistance. We are also grateful to have recently acquired the assistance of Trader Joe's “Sharing the Food” Program.

“Thank you” is one very small phrase, but is the only one that conveys our depth of feeling for the help that we have received from so many, in so many ways, to help this program continue to
succeed. May God bless you all!

Sincerely,
