It's Cranford 'Walk To School Day' On Wednesday

CRANFORD, NJ — The Cranford Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Committee has announced Cranford "Walk to School Day" for Wednesday.

"Children learn through experience. Walking with parents or another caregiver is an important way for children to practice crossing real streets and picking safe places to walk," notes a flyer.

Participating schools are: Bloomingdale Avenue School, Brookside Place School, Hillside Avenue School, Livingston Avenue School, Orange Avenue School, Walnut Avenue School.

Students in Cranford have a choice between a hybrid education model and remote learning. One classroom at Hillside Avenue school was shut down temporarily on Sept. 29 after a student tested positive for coronavirus.
