Jets Players, Cranford Salon Team Up To Fight Childhood Cancer
Cory Mathews Salon cut-a-thon benefitted the Valerie Fund.
CRANFORD, NJ - Patrons of the Cory Mathews Salon got a haircut and helped fight childhood cancer on Sunday as part of a cut-a-thon at their Cranford and Westfield locations.
The proceeds of the event benefited the Valerie Fund and was sponsored by the Cranford Police Department and Westfield PBA 90.
Beyond for raffles, food and drink patrons were able to meet to meet New York Jets Brandon Shell and Daniel Brown. Shell is an offensive tackle for the Jets and Brown is a tight end.

According to their website, the Valerie Fund's mission is to provide individualized care to children at medical centers close to home, because they believe the most effective way to heal the children in their care is to treat them emotionally, socially and developmentally, as well as medically.
