Jumble Store Announces Summer Donation Days

Bring your donations to the Jumble Store On July 13, August 3, or or August 15.

CRANFORD, NEW JERSEY July 15, 2024 – The Jumble Store, a non-profit thrift store located at 110 Walnut St in Cranford and operated by the Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield (JLEP) is offering three donation days this summer on Tuesday July 16th from 11am-1pm, Saturday August 3rd, from 10am-12pm, and Thursday August 15th, 10am-12pm. Donations will also be accepted for the Career Closet, a project of the JLEP that provides free career dressing services to women residing in Union County.

No reservation is needed, just bring your donations to the back entrance of the Jumble Store and volunteers will bring them inside and provide a tax receipt. Donation items can include women's, men's, and children's clothing as well as housewares, accessories, and toys. If you cannot make it to one of these days but have items to contribute to the store, please contact Caroline Ellison via email at office@jlepnj.org or by phone at 908-709-1177 to make alternate drop off arrangements.

All proceeds from sales at the Jumble Store are used to fund the JLEP’s work in the community, including the Career Closet and our college scholarship program. If you would like to partner with the JLEP or find out more about becoming a volunteer, please email us at information@jlepnj.org.

The Jumble Store will reopen on September 4th, 2024 at 11am. The regular hours starting in September are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11am to 5pm and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm. The Career Closet is open by appointment, please email careercloset@jlepnj.org for more information.
