Teachers from the Kenilworth School District have been vigorously fighting for a fair contract. Despite the rising costs of living and health insurance, the school board has not negotiated a fair settlement, denying its teachers a salary increase commensurate with the current Union County average. Even with the absence of their superintendent, the teachers have been steadily maintaining the daily functions of the school while dedicating their time and effort to the education of their students. Regardless of the obstacles, Kenilworth teachers vow to continue to picket every morning in front of their schools and at board meetings until their voices are heard.
