Lightning Storm And Floods Temporarily Close Major Cranford Roads
Floods and downed trees closed parts of North and South Avenue on Wednesday night.

CRANFORD, NJ — The Cranford police sent an alert Wednesday evening about multiple road closures in Cranford, including sections of North and South Avenue, due to downed trees and flooding in an electrical storm.
The police advised: "Follow all closures. Do not attempt to drive through flooded roadways.
Do not pass barricades. Follow instructions of emergency personnel. Do not attempt to drive through flooded roadways."
