Man Arrested For DWI After Cranford Crash
After a motor vehicle crash, one of the drivers was arrested and issued a summons for allegedly having a suspended license.
CRANFORD, NJ — Following a motor vehicle accident in Cranford on Jan. 31, Steven Grote, 45, of Union was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
According to police, emergency workers responded to North Avenue East at 9:15 p.m. due to a report of a motor vehicle crash. Following an investigation on the scene, Ptl. D’Agostino arrested one of the drivers.
Grote was processed and provided with a municipal court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for alleged careless driving, suspended driving, and view obstruction.
