UPDATE Cranford Man Has Been Found, Police Say

The 59-year-old man has gone missing before.

CRANFORD, NJ — [UPDATE: The man was found Thursday afternoon and was being returned to his home, police said.]

The Cranford Police Department is currently investigating a missing 59-year-old male resident who suffers from mental illness, they said Thursday.

The missing male, Carlos, was last seen on Monday around 8:20 a.m. walking on Ludlow Avenue in Cranford, police said.

At that time, he was wearing a green-colored short sleeve shirt, blue jeans and tan work boots. He's a Hispanic male, standing 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 200lbs. He is balding (gray hair) and has brown eyes.

He has gone missing in the past (including recently) and is known to use mass transportation, police said.
