Meeker Sharkey & Hurley Adds Three Associates, Opens Office in Wall Township

CRANFORD, N.J., June 23, 2016 – Meeker Sharkey & Hurley, a leading provider of employee benefits, risk management and insurance services, has added three new associates with expertise in commercial insurance, personal lines and employee benefits. The firm has also opened a new office in Wall Township to better serve its customers.

Anthony DeGraw joins the firm as Account Executive for Commercial Insurance with a focus on professional liability. Michele Miranda is a Personal Insurance Advisor,

and Andy Dars is a Senior Sales Executive for Employee Benefits.

Prior to joining Meeker, DeGraw was a professional liability insurance broker at PL Risk Advisors Inc., specializing in errors and omissions, directors and officers, employment practices liability insurance, privacy/network security and fiduciary insurance for private and public corporations nationwide. Previously, he was a marketing representative for Philadelphia Insurance Companies where he presented commercial and professional liability products to more than 250 independent insurance agents in an open brokerage model. DeGraw lives in Wall, New Jersey.

Miranda was a personal insurance advisor at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., specializing in advising clients on their personal insurance and risk management needs. For 16 years prior, Miranda was president of the insurance marketing agency Alternative Market Prospects Inc. Miranda currently resides in Waretown, New Jersey.

Prior to opening his own employee benefits agency, Andrew was an Assistant Vice President and Employee Benefits Specialist with Banc of America Corporate Insurance Services (BACIS). Andrew also worked as a Direct Sales Representative at Oxford Health Plans, US Healthcare and Dun and Brad Street Credit and Financial Services. He is a resident of Somerset, New Jersey.
