Meet Ex-Secret Service Agent and Local Author Tom Sloan

The public is invited to meet local author Tom Sloan. Mr. Sloan, a retired Secret Service agent who grew up in Cranford, is the author of the recently published political thriller Bratva’s Rose Tattoo. Mr. Sloan will have copies of Bratva’s Rose Tattoo available for purchase and for signing. Mr. Sloan’s Secret Service career included protecting retired President Richard Nixon for more than four years, protecting President Bill Clinton, and overseeing such major security assignments as Papal visits, the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, and NATO 50. Mr. Sloan will have copies of his book available for purchase and for signing. Proceeds from the sale of Bratva’s Rose Tattoo will be donated to the Navy SEAL Foundation and Children’s Specialized Hospital, New Brunswick. Admission is free and all are welcome.The program is sponsored by the Cranford Public Library.
