No Parking On Cranford Roads During Blizzard
Cranford Police remind residents to move their vehicles for snow removal.

Cranford, NJ -- The Cranford Police Department is closely monitoring the storm and is reminding residents to move their cars off the road.
Snow removal:
Residents should also ensure that they do not shovel or snow blow their snow back into the roadway after it has been plowed as this creates a hazardous condition. Also, anyone with a fire hydrant near their property is asked to keep the hydrant clear of snow in the event of an emergency.

On Street Parking:
Residents are asked to remove all vehicles from the roadways to assist the DPW in keeping the roads clear and to ensure the safe passage of fire engines and other emergency vehicles. Use your driveway, a family member’s, or a neighbor’s driveway if possible. Parking will not be permitted in the municipal lots or parking garage unless the proper permits are utilized.

The Township created a snow emergency ordinance that now prohibits parking on the roadway during snow storms. Below is a listing of all Township, County, and State roadways that prohibit parking. Vehicles left of the roadway will be subject to towing.

Closures:
The Cranford Community Center will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 23 and all activities are cancelled. All Rec Basketball games played at schools are cancelled as well.
