Orange Avenue School in Cranford presents "Oliver!"

Consider yourself invited to see Orange Avenue School's production of "Oliver!"

Orange Avenue School in Cranford is proud to present the award-winning musical “Oliver!” Performances will be Thursday, February 25 at 7:00 pm, Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27 at 7:30 pm, and a Sunday matinee on February 28 at 3:00 pm. Follow the young, orphaned Oliver Twist as he is ejected from a workhouse and forced to navigate Victorian London’s underworld searching for a home, a family, and love. Adapted from the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens (Music, Book and Lyrics by Lionel Bart), “Oliver!” is one of the most popular musicals of all time. The original Broadway production was nominated for 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and the 1968 film version won the Academy Award for Best Motion Picture. Favorite songs from “Oliver!” include “Food Glorious Food,” “Consider Yourself,” “I’d Do Anything,” “As Long As He Needs Me,” and “Who Will Buy?”
