Passenger Arrested On Drug Charges: Cranford Police
Reginald Durham was in an unregistered, uninsured car, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 24-year-old New York City man was arrested and charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on March 5.
According to authorities, a 1999 Toyota was stopped on North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for a brake lamp out. Following an investigation on scene, Patrolman Robert Chamra arrested a passenger, Reginald Durham, for suspected marijuana found in his possession, police said.
He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, the driver was issued motor vehicle summonses for an unregistered vehicle, unclear plates, maintenance of lamps, no valid insurance card and uninsured vehicle.
