Ride-Share Driver Sexually Assaulted Passenger In Union Co: Officials
Officials charged the 39-year-old man with sexually assaulting the victim at a residential complex, according to police and reports.
UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ — Officials charged a ride-share driver with sexually assaulting a passenger at a Union Township residential complex over the weekend, multiple reports said.
According to police, 39-year-old Yiduo Ding responded to a ride-share request early Saturday at the Vermella Complex, a luxury apartment complex on Morris Avenue.
Ding, of Queens, N.Y., is accused of sexually assaulting the passenger at the complex, said reports from NJ.com and TAPinto Union. Officials did not specify the ride-share company.

He faces a second-degree charge of sexual assault after a joint investigation by township police and the Union County Prosecutor's Office, the reports said.
