Solve A 'Murder' In Cranford Friday

CRANFORD, NJ - Murder, mystery and fine dining combine on Friday when the Cranford Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the interactive comedy mystery titled “Mind Over Murder Séance” at Garlic Rose Bistro. The program is scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 28 North Avenue, W.

The show is put on by DOA Mysteries and is described as an evening of murder and laughter when a world famous psychic performs a séance to resurrect the spirit of an infamous 1920’s rum runner. According to their website, DOA Mysteries are a mixture of scripted comedy and improv hilarity that includes topical humor, good-natured joking, and professionals who know how to make an event top-notch fun. Every audience member can be as involved as they want to be, whether it’s sitting back and laughing at all the hijinks, or participating in various ways throughout the show.

The night begins when guests walk into the venue and are greeted by one of the professional actors. They are handed a program and maybe even a description of a character they will become for the rest of the evening. Immediately participants are immersed in the new world of the show.
