Speeding Leads To Drug Arrest: Cranford Police

Wilkens Mytil was charged with possession, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 34-year-old Roselle man was arrested and charged with drug possession after a motor vehicle stop on July 6, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman John Rattigan stopped a 2006 Lexus on Myrtle Street for speeding. Following an investigation on scene, Rattigan arrested the driver, Wilkens Mytil, for possession of suspected THC oil and marijuana found inside his vehicle, police said.

He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, tinted windows, unclear plates and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
