String of Overnight Thefts Reported in Cranford

Police warn residents to remove valuables and lock cars

Cranford, NJ -- Following a string of recent overnight thefts, Cranford Police are warning residents to remove any valuables and lock their cars whenever they are unattended.

Police reported the thefts occured from unlocked cars at multiple locations on the south side of Cranford (and several near Nomahegan Park).

Residents are advised to contact the police immediately if they observe suspicious behavior, especially in the overnight hours in residential neighborhoods.
