Succulents, Kids and the Garden Club of Cranford = Success!

Members of the Garden Club of Cranford led a Crafting Community Event on October 22, 2019. Crafting Community Events connect community members and a local organization around a craft or skill. The Garden Club of Cranford extended an invitation to children, aged four through eight years, to a program featuring succulent plants. "Granny Frannie" led an informative, interactive, fun and educational program introducing the species, their unique qualities and care. The 25 participants planted a succulent to take home and created a personalized flag logo. The program was sponsored by a grant from the Union County Freeholders.
