Three Options for Christmas Eve Worship Services

Cranford, NJ – First Presbyterian Church of Cranford has released its schedule of Christmas Eve worship services:

December 24 at 4:00pm: Children’s Christmas Musical

December 24 at 8:00pm: Family-Friendly Traditional Worship with Candlelight

December 24 at 11:00pm: Candlelight Service with Holy Communion

4:00pm Children’s Christmas Musical

Kids and family obligations Christmas Eve? The 4:00pm service is ideal! The Sermon is a Christmas Musical, 100% delivered by the children’s choirs, from first to sixth graders! Always a little mayhem and unexpected laughs, but a moving and fun experience for the young and young at heart. Under the direction of Elsa Hahn and accompanied by Ann Weeks, this year's Children's Musical is entitled "The Little Bell Who Wouldn't Stop Ringing!" Come find out why!

8:00pm Family-Friendly Traditional Worship Service

Rev. J. Christian Kile will lead a traditional Christmas Eve service with familiar Christmas carols, perfect for families and all those who wish to celebrate with full choirs and organ music. Featured soloist Lynn Pinto will sing “O Holy Night”. During the final hymn, “Silent Night, Holy Night”, the lights will be dimmed and candlelight will fill the Sanctuary.

11:00pm Candlelight Service with Holy Communion

There will be a moving and beautiful candlelight service with Holy Communion. The featured vocal soloist will be local recording artist Kelli Bruno. The service ends with dimming of the lights and the singing of “Silent Night, Holy Night” by candlelight.
