Three School Board Seats Draw Six Candidates In Cranford

Three incumbents and three newcomers are seeking a spot on the dais.

CRANFORD, NJ - There can be only three. The Cranford Board of Education is off to a fast start as three incumbents and three newcomers have filed to run in this year's November election, according to the Union County Clerk's Office.

The incumbents include, Nicole Sherrin Kessler of Staughton Avenue, Patrick Lynch of Denman Road and Brian McCarthy of Lawn Terrace.

Also on the ballot is Brian Lopez of Wade Avenue, Brett Dreyer of Hampton Street, and Veronica Doyle of Penn Road.

Dreyer is running with the slogan "Committed to Cranford" and Doyle has selected "Our Children First" as her slogan.

The general election is scheduled for Nov. 5.
