Through The Lens of a Cranford Photographer

Teresa Mansbach captures the moment of local residents through her camera.

Cranford, NJ – Teresa Mansbach has always had an artistic eye.

The Cranford native went to the Fashion Institute of Technology and now has her own photography business in her hometown.

“I’ve always wanted to get into photography and I’ve always liked computers,” Mansbach told Patch. “Digital photography was a really good fit for me.”

Mansbach began shooting while studying Digital Photography in Manhatten for a number of photography businesses. Branching out on her own three years ago, Mansbach now has her own business in Cranford.

She shoots just about everything from families to weddings to portraits and more.

Mansbach enjoys shooting everything but the key to a great shoot is being able to relate to the subject.

“There is a lot of psychology involved,” Mansbach said. “For a big event like a wedding, someone might be freaking out but I can calm them down and help them relax and be casual.”

For events such as weddings, Mansbacj prides herself to sticking with a timeline so that the subjects can go off and enjoy the day.

“I always put my heart and soul into every image I make, and it shows in my work,” Mansbach wrote on her website.

Prices start around $200 for a portrait session and $1,200 for weddings.
