Traffic Advisory: Lincoln Avenue Still Closed

Lincoln Avenue continues to remain closed after a water main break on Thanksgiving morning.

The break was reported just before 5 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26.

Lincoln Avenue between Grove Street and Redford Avenue is still closed today, Nov. 27 due to utility work. The roadway is expected to re-open by approximately 7 p.m. tonight, Cranford Police said.

“The water and gas line repairs are completed and all homes have service,” according to Cranford police. “The remaining repairs are to the sewer system and are expected to be completed by this evening.”
