Two Heroin Busts On Centennial Avenue: Cranford Police

Ann Pedone and Donna Martin were stopped for erratic driving, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 57-year-old Keansburg woman and a 53-year-old Hazlet woman were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on July 17, according to the Cranford Police Department.

Patrolman Ryan Gerrity stopped a 2003 Ford was stopped on Centennial Avenue and the Garden State Parkway 136 Exchange for erratic driving, police said. Following an investigation on scene, Gerrity arrested the driver and a passenger, Ann Pedone of Keansburg and and Donna Martin of Hazlet, respectively, for possession of suspected heroin found on them, police said.

They were both processed and provided with Superior Court appearance dates. In addition, Pedone was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
