Unclear Plates Lead To Drug Arrest: Cranford Police

Kendall Wozniak was arrested after a traffic stop, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - An 18-year-old Matawan woman was arrested and charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 11, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman Daniel Donnerstag stopped a 2015 Nissan on North Avenue East for unclear plates. Following an investigation at the scene, Donnerstag arrested the driver, Kendall Wozniak, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said. She was charged with possession of under 50g, marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

In addition, she was issued motor vehicle summonses for unclear plates and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
