Vegan, Cruelty Free Beauty Store Coming To Cranford

Witch Baby Soap will be setting up shop on Eastman Street.

CRANFORD, NJ - Witch Baby Soap, a company that specializes in handcrafted vegan and cruelty free beauty products, will be opening a store in town, according to Downtown Cranford's Facebook page.

The company will be opening a store at 11 Eastman Street and has products free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, formaldehyde, and other beauty boogey-men that are traditionally found on shelves, according to their website.

Witch Baby began in the kitchen of Head Witch in Charge - Chelsea Selby. Selby started Witch Baby in October of 2013 with her baby strapped to her chest and an empty bank account, the website said.

After leaving high school with a New Jersey cosmetology license and graduating from college with a bachelor's degree in Alternative Medicine she decided to blend her love for beauty and herbology into what is now Witch Baby Soap, the site said.
