Warrant, Possession Arrest on North Avenue: Cranford Police
Daniel Brower was charged with hindering apprehension, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 36-year-old Keyport man was arrested and charged with possession offenses and jailed on an outstanding warrant on Aug. 8, according to the Cranford Police Department.
Patrolman Gregory Federici stopped a 2003 Ford on North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for failing to signal a lane change, police said. Following an investigation on scene, Federici arrested a passenger, Daniel Brower, for hindering apprehension after he provided a false name and had active outstanding arrest warrants, police said.
In addition, he was also charged with having a hypodermic syringe in his possession, police said.

He was processed and turned over to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
