Water Main Break Reported In Cranford

New Jersey American Water is reporting a water main break in Cranford on Denman Rd near Lincoln Ave East.

“Several” customers are out of water, the water company said. The main has been shut off and a crew is on the way to excavate and repair, New Jersey American Water said around 8 a.m.

However, people should avoid the area.

“This is a large cast iron main from the 1930s,” the water company said.
