The "Stephen King of children's literature" has sold more than 400 million books worldwide and is known for his blend of horror and humor.

The signing is one of the first events in a future that looks to build on standard film showings at the newly-upgraded Cranford Theater. The facility had its grand reopening in November 2025 after a partial ceiling collapse closed the venue for months.
Ownership said they are already preparing for different types of stage productions, festivals, and other varieties of events in 2026.
The Theater is the only independent movie theater left in Union County, and one of just a few in the entire state still operating.
