EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Two East Brunswick women were recently recognized by Susan G. Komen North Jersey for their commitment to fighting breast cancer.

Lois Solomon and Peggy Forma, both residents of East Brunswick, were honored for their volunteerism by Susan G. Komen North Jersey at the November 19 Volunteer Recognition Tea at Shackamaxon Country Club in Scotch Plains. Lois is a breast cancer "Forever Fighter," a term Susan G. Komen North Jersey uses to describe those who have metastatic breast cancer and who are battling the disease every day of their lives.

Her best friend Peggy is always by her side, and they are most definitely what you would call a truly "dynamic duo."
