2 Seriously Injured In Ryders Lane Crash Wednesday Night

Two women were seriously injured, but a juvenile was unharmed, in a car accident Wednesday night on Ryders Lane in East Brunswick.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Two adults were seriously injured, but a juvenile was unharmed, in a car accident Wednesday night on Ryders Lane. The accident resulted in major traffic delays on Ryders Lane between Summerhill and Winton roads Wednesday evening; your evening commute may have been affected.

At approximately 5:33 p.m. yesterday, a 72-year-old East Brunswick woman driving a 2005 Ford Focus east on Ryders Lane attempted to make a left onto Winton Road. That's when her car was struck by a 2009 Honda CRV operated by a 55-year-old Milltown woman who was traveling west on Ryders Lane.

A juvenile passenger in the CRV was uninjured. However, the two women both sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and they were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment last night.
